PROBLEM
Las Vegas is expanding so rapidly that storage facilities are in high demand. Currently the average facility is at 90% capacity or above allowing the cost per unit to rise, due to the shortage of availability.
When it comes to ample vehicle parking, for instance, boats, RVs, and oversized company trucks/trailers, they encounter difficulties when there is no available space to park their property. Regarding security systems, many facilities in the area do not have 24 hour personnel on site nor ample security systems in place. This will lead to theft, damage of personnel property, customer dissatisfaction, and lack of trust. Amenities offered in Las Vegas are basic, with no strides to make a better customer experience, while making storage a hassle. One big problem is a lack of loading docks, causing backups and time constraints, along with making the loading and unloading process a struggle. Referencing the well known issue of maneuvering items through small entrances, customers are forced to rent the more expensive drive up units. This takes away the possibility to save money and go with an inside unit during this tough economy. Pertaining to facility provided carts and trollies, the lack of availability causes a lengthy search or wait frustrating a customer. Another common issue is the carts are not designed well, causing a hard turning radius making corners a hazard, and potentially damaging property. Another issue for RV and Boat customer's is having to take their vehicle to a carwash or household to clean before storing, causing yet another frustration with current facilities.
SOLUTION
The solution to the limited storage facility problem is quite simple and will also face a significant but rewarding undertaking.
First off, we would need to find an affordable and buildable plot of land in an expanding area (Blue Diamond, Inspirada, and Northern Las Vegas by the VA on Pecos) that requires storage facilities to cover those particular areas in need. Some difficulties that customers face daily is trying to get units and parking spots within proximity to their houses. The need for storage is never going away and is only rising. We need to get ahead of the curve by getting in the industry now while the demand outweighs the supply. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for storage rose significantly higher despite the limitations that were in place during that time. Moreover, Las Vegas has a high Active Duty Military and Veteran population living in the area, making it the perfect location for a Veteran owned storage facility. The main objective will be to cater specifically to the customers needs and satisfaction while honoring the military values American Hero Storage was founded on. Many Veteran-owned local small businesses will benefit from being able to use storage for their personal and business-related needs at a better rate with a more secure mindset.
In regards to security, our facility will have 24 hour monitoring and full video surveillance on the property giving our customers peace of mind. We will have a covered loading dock to ease loading and unloading of property expediting the process to offer the easiest mode of transport into our facility. Pertaining to entering our facility, we will provide extra-wide doorways easing the transport of larger items inside to the economical units. When it comes to carts and trollies, we plan to have an abundance of various sizes and enough to ensure the capability to facilitate multiple customers at the same time. The most valued amenity we will offer is a wash bay for boats and RV's allowing our customers to clean and store. This will take away the hassle of multiple stops and allow for us to be a one stop and store for all recreational needs. American Hero Storage will offer the best customer experience found in Las Vegas.
